May Recap

My second graders and I took real and virtual field trips, then school ended. Woot, woot!

Hubs and I quickly visited Colorado for a friend's wedding. He was an usher.

We spent time with family. Izzy, the big outside pup, seems to be a permanent part of the farm.

I finished my first projects of the summer. 2 for them, 1 for me. I'm not necessarily an owl person.

June and July will be busy. Hubs will be balancing Butler and NexStep (a GED prep program) and WATC. I will be teaching summer school (now called Summer Academy, like a day camp) and taking another graduate class through ESU. Hopefully it's as interesting as my last one.

Only Two Days Left...

...but let's be honest, I'm pretty much working my way back into school mode again already. The next two days I'll end up going into school to finish setting up for second grade anyway. Wednesday is my official day to report back.

Oh, how quickly the summer break flies!

Thankfully, I spent the last week here...

...doing this, among other things...

... with a couple of great people, Hubs and a friend.
