I had my first attempt at wedding photography this month. (November 7th) I don't think I did too bad, but I would like to have a different (better, updated) camera before I photograph another wedding. I really do love my Canon film camera, and I wish I had a nice digital one. (That would also tremendously cut down on the cost if I volunteer my services again!)
Maybe someday!
Maybe someday!
Here are some of the highlights from my wedding photography experience...
I am glad that I was able to get a picture of the kids peeking over the gazebo handrails.
I loved that this couple included their kids as much as possible, including in the unity candle. So sweet! I also thought the picture of the random head (before the cake cutting) is great. Thanks, Adam! Also, Liz was in many of their photos even though she's not their daughter. I thought that was amusing. She just wanted to be in on all the cake action, I guess!
I think the cake pictures are always fun!
I tried to take posed, traditional pictures and fun, candid ones.
It was a good experience. I think the couple enjoyed the little album of pictures I gave them after it was all over. I'm grateful for the opportunity that they gave me to try out this profession that I've been secretly interested in for quite a while. Thanks, friends!
